The Phoenix Suns lit up the Dallas Mavericks in the second half yesterday, as Devin Booker scored 30 of his 46 in the second half alone to guide Phoenix to a 132-109 victory.
Most of this damage came in the third quarter, as the Suns (26-18), who were once down 16 in the second quarter, outscored the Mavericks (24-20) 43-20 in the third period. Booker had 22 of these points on 9-of-11 shooting.
Phoenix played excellent defense on Luka Doncic after halftime following a 24-point half from the Mavericks superstar. While Booker and Durant highlighted the scoring, a lot of this game was extremely chippy.
