Devin Booker will play opening night.
A little over a month after having surgery Sept. 10 on his injured right shooting hand, the Phoenix Suns franchise player is set to return for Wednesday’s 7:30 p.m. opener against the Dallas Mavericks at Talking Stick Resort Arena on ESPN.
“Devin’s going to play on Wednesday,” Kokoskov said. “There’s no secret. He’s ready. He’s playing. He’s excited.”
Booker was scheduled to be out six weeks after having surgery to repair the fifth metacarpophalangeal joint a week after his right hand swelled while playing pickup basketball.
