Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker was nominated for this week’s Western Conference Player of the Week award, but lost out to Lauri Markkanen.
In a week in which the Suns went 2-1, Booker averaged 28.3 points shooting 56.9% on field goals and 27.3% from deep to go along with 5.7 assists and 3.7 rebounds.
Markkanen led the Utah Jazz to a perfect 4-0 record, posting averages of 24.5 points, 11.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 47.3% from the floor and 48.1% from three.
