INDIANAPOLIS – Phoenix entered its four-game road trip confident after winning two of three games without Devin Booker, with the latter one over the top team in the Western Conference.
Then the Suns finished the first leg of the trip with an embarrassing 131-97 loss to Indiana in which they allowed the Pacers to shoot 52.1 percent in the second half and lead by as many as 37 points.
“I hate to lose, simple as that,” Suns forward Kelly Oubre Jr. said. “It’s not a good feeling obviously, but we’ve got to move on to Toronto. We got our ass kicked tonight, but we have to move on.
