Less than 48 hours after Woj rubber stamped the Phoenix Suns open roster spot with Jordan McRae, the basketball gods have intervened. Just like the Detroit Pistons stole a game from the Suns this weekend, it looks like they may be stealing their waiver wire claim too.
Chris Haynes of Yahoo! is now reporting the Pistons have turned their attention McRae due to Derrick Rose being sidelined for multiple weeks due to an ankle injury.
How does that matter? Well, the Pistons have a worse record than the Suns which puts them higher on the waiver wire.
