Denver Nuggets bury Phoenix Suns from foul line in win

P.J. Tucker slapped the ball from the Denver forward’s hands and heard the official’s whistle blow.

“Oh, my god!” the Suns forward said, putting both hands behind his head in an act of disbelief. He pleaded his case. He looked at the replay on the Talking Stick Resort Arena scoreboard. It didn’t matter.

The Suns are the NBA’s worst fouling team, an issue that contributed to Saturday night’s 123-112 loss to the Nuggets in downtown Phoenix. They were in foul trouble for most of the second half, getting outscored from the foul line for the second consecutive game against the same team.
