Deandre Ayton was hitting threes at shootaround this morning. Yes, you read that correctly. Ayton was shooting threes and making them look easy.
“I was talking to the coach about that,” Ayton said on implementing the three-point shot into his game. “They don’t pay me enough for that.”
Ayton is always having a good time out there on the court. People forget he’s only 20. He’s still young and still enjoying everything that comes with the game of basketball. He’s truly embracing every moment and continuing to learn.
“Play hard. Don’t look at the scoreboard,” Ayton said of the 24 points he scored in the fourth quarter against the Nuggets.
