Al Horford racked up 24 points (8-14 FG, 6-10 3PT) for the Celtics (52-14) who have won four straight games.
Devin Booker led the Suns (38-28) in points with 23. Bradley Beal scored 22 and both Kevin Durant and Grayson Allen grabbed 20 a piece.
Early on, the game was flowing back and forth as there was no major margin differentiating the two teams. The Suns were shooting 9-for-13 (69%) while Boston was 6-for-12 (50%) about halfway through the first quarter.
