I’m still wading through the grief of a Phoenix Suns fan coming to terms with the inevitable. This season is going nowhere. There will be moments, sure, little peaks to keep the illusion alive, but then a team like the Denver Nuggets rolls in and reminds you just how far behind this organization actually is.
No Durant, no Beal, no Grayson. I get it. You can call this an expected loss. But then you remember all the times Phoenix had that advantage against shorthanded teams earlier this season and still couldn’t get the job done.
