Having played with Chris Paul and Devin Booker, Jamal Crawford knew they’d “fit well" in their first season together with the Phoenix Suns.
Paul is 12 years older and played in the NBA almost as long (16 seasons) as the 24-year-old Booker has been alive, but Crawford was confident they’d develop chemistry in the same backcourt.
“Before you even get to their skill sets, the love of the game from both of them would keep them connected,” Crawford wrote in a direct Twitter message. “Then on the court, they are both DOGS!!!”
Paul and Booker have proceeded to lead the second-seeded Suns to the NBA Finals as they’ll face the third-seeded Milwaukee Bucks in Game 1 Tuesday at Phoenix Suns Arena.
