Patience is poison when you haven’t made the playoffs in six years.
But the Suns pulled off an amazing feat on Thursday. They spent their most valuable draft pick in 29 years on an 18-year old project from Croatia. They traded their 13th pick and other assets for a raw power forward who fouled out in nearly half of his college games. They have three key players under the age of 20, in a league where youth will get you beat every time.
And like many Suns fans, I couldn’t be happier.
