MEXICO CITY - Love is the universal language. The love of sports isn’t far behind.
The NBA knows better than anyone.
The globetrotting league will make history in the coming days. They will stage two regular-season games from two different countries on Thursday, bringing their product to Mexico City and London.
Their deep penetration of markets in Latin America will also be on full display, where the Suns are the featured team in NBA Global Games Mexico City, a three-team event that will produce the 23rd and 24th games held in this country.
The Suns play the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday from Ciudad de Mexico arena, an enormous venue with nine different levels and seating capacity of 22,300, followed by a sold-out contest against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday.
