With the new NBA and NBA D-League seasons approaching, the time has arrived for open tryouts for the Bakersfield Jam. The tryouts for the team will run Sept. 26-27, with the deadline for pre-registration coming four days earlier on Sept. 22.
The registration cost is $150 pre-deadline, and $200 afterward.

As far as the individual tryouts are concerned, there have been cases of players going from the tryouts to the team, and ending up with a successful basketball career.
