In the three-month span of December through February, the Suns won a total of seven games. In March alone, they won five.
Suns interim head coach Earl Watson told Suns.com last week that the upwards tick in victories was a mental triumph more than anything else.
"The belief is back," he said.
More must return for the Suns to be restored as factor out West, but Watson knows it won't happen overnight. While he does not yet know whether he will oversee the process through as the team's head coach next season, he is pleased with the steps he has witnessed thus far.
