Yet there she was, dwarfed by the size of NBA athletes but basking in the spotlight normally reserved for them.
She saw none of it. She's been blind since birth, a condition enforced by Cytomegalovirus, which prevented her optic nerve from forming.
It has never deterred nor depressed her. Instead the Kentucky native clings to the faith found in the fourth verse of the anthem she has sung at sporting events aroun the world, a verse she lists as her favorite song.
