When Eric Bledsoe hit this game winner early in the season, it had been a pleasant reversal of recent fortune as in recent history the Suns had been the team who had been on the wrong end of game-winning shots. It was also unbeknownst to anyone at the time, but it was only the first of four game-winners by the Suns in one season – something that hadn’t happened in many years. Couple that with the fact that this shot was part of the best season in Bledsoe’s career, and the 2016-17 season was a very magical one for the Suns’ star point guard.
