My annual “5 Lineups to look forward to” piece is here. The season must be getting closer... kinda.
The NBA has yet to release its 2024-25 season schedule, but they figure to unveil it sometime in mid-August. Last year it was August 17th. That’s typically when it starts to feel real.
Last year’s piece was done before the Deandre Ayton trade, so we never got to see a few of those lineups together. This year, we had the late July addition of Tyus Jones, so as I began this piece I had to make adjustments. Gotta love the offseason madness.
