The Phoenix Suns were unable to knock off the San Antonio Spurs in Monday's Summer League championship.
The Suns will leave Las Vegas with a lot to be excited about, but no Summer League championship.
In past games the Suns found themselves having to dig out of an early hole due to poor shooting. Phoenix actually shot considerably better in the first half against the Spurs, but struggled to hold onto the ball. Defensive minded San Antonio, who held Atlanta to 68 points on Sunday forced 20 Phoenix turnovers in the championship game.
