The Suns have not made the playoffs for a franchise-worst streak of six years but their former players continue to find their ways there.
This postseason’s first round weeded out half of the crop of former Suns players, leaving 11 of the 22 alive for the second round. A huge chunk of that survived with a Game 7 win Sunday by Miami, sort of the South Beach Suns with four former Phoenix standouts now playing for the Heat.
The 11 remaining former Suns are largely role players, if they play at all, with only two starters in the group.
