In today's Suns rumors and news update, the Phoenix Suns continue to put their ambitious plans for the 2014 NBA free agency period into effect - looking to parlay a meeting with LeBron James' agent into a legitimate chance at landing the four-time NBA MVP.
Per Cindy Boren of the Washington Post, "James has had a subterranean profile since opting out of his Miami Heat contract on June 24, preferring to vacation while his Cleveland-based agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, talks to teams. And Paul has been busy, meeting (via ESPN) with the Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Dallas Mavericks and Cleveland Cavaliers."
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, now the Phoenix Suns join several other interested teams in the waiting game:

The Suns' reported primary pitch to James is their ability to potentially pair him with New York Knicks free agent Carmelo Anthony with both players receiving max deals.
However, multiple sources are indicating that Anthony is currently rumored to be narrowing his list down, with the Lakers and Knicks surfacing as primary contenders to land him.
If that is indeed true, the Suns will have to alter their pitch significantly if James does decide to grant them an audience in the coming weeks.
