Coyotes goaltender Darcy Kuemper will start in net against the Nashville Predators on Thursday at Gila River Arena, head coach Rick Tocchet said after Thursday’s morning skate.
Kuemper, who missed Tuesday’s game with an illness, had been filling in for normal starter Antti Raanta — who is dealing with a lower-body injury — and started the previous four games.
Rookie netminder Adin Hill started in Kuemper’s place on Tuesday and registered his first career NHL win in a 4-3 shootout victory over the Los Angeles Kings in Glendale.
