As Philadelphia Union head up north this week to battle the reigning 2017 MLS Cup Champions Toronto FC, we’ll take a look at how TFC fared in their last MLS contest.
On April 28, Toronto FC hosted Eastern Conference foe Chicago Fire, with the home team trying to rebound after their CONCACAF Champions League Final loss. Toronto got off to a hot start in the first half, with Jonathan Osorio finding the back of the net in the eighth minute. The Reds continued to build on to the lead when midfielder Victor Vazquez struck one home to increase the lead to 2-0 in the 22nd minute.
