They had to wait through a lengthy weather delay, but West Chester United capped off their inaugural regular season in USL League Two with a Mid-Atlantic Division title with a 2-1 road win over Ocean City Nor’easters Friday night.
Troy Amspacher put the Predators (11-1-2) in front in the 31st minute when he got on the end of a Kyle Tucker cross and punched it in through traffic but then the bad weather came and delayed the game for about 90 minutes.
Once the teams returned from the delay, the Predators were able to extend their lead on a goal from Chris Donovan that was deflected on its way just before halftime.
