West Chester United moved one step closer to qualifying for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup proper on Sunday with a 3-0 win over local rival Ukrainian Nationals.
Chas Wilson and Kyle Martyn each had a goal and an assist to lead the Predators and defender John Peter Nolan also found the back of the net in the match between United Soccer League of Pennsylvania rivals.
John Paletar made four saves to record the clean sheet for West Chester, which will play their third straight road game in qualifying on either November 11 or 12 against the Queens-based New York Pancyprian Freedoms.
