Paxten Aaronson rewarded Philadelphia Union head coach Jim Curtin for giving him his first MLS start with his first MLS goal on Sunday against the first place New England Revolution.
The Union were trailing 1-0 after conceding an early goal to Matt Polster when the 17-year-old Aaronson collected a pass from Jakob Glesnes, turned and shook off veteran defender Andrew Farrell to deliver a rocket goalkeeper Matt Turner could do nothing to stop.

Aaronson, the younger brother of Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Brenden Aaronson, became the third youngest goal-scorer in club history behind Quinn Sullivan and Jack McGlynn, who both started in the match against New England.
