Philadelphia Union central defensive midfielder Warren Creavalle made the final 22 man roster for the Guyanese National Team and was expected to report to camp in Paramaribo yesterday. Creavalle was named to the 55 man roster last month.
Creavalle and Guyana will compete in the third round of the Caribbean Football Union’s Caribbean Cup. It won’t be an easy path to the Caribbean Cup though, as the Golden Jaguars are in Group 1 with Suriname and defending Caribbean Cup winners Jamaica. Guyana will play Suriname at the National Track and Field Facility in Lenora, Guyana on October 5 before heading to Kingston to face Andre Blake, Cory Burke, and the Reggae Boyz on October 11.
