The Philadelphia Union announced today the club will open their 2016 preseason against Jacksonville Armada FC on Saturday, Feb. 6 at Community First Park at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Kick-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
“We’re honored to be headed back to Jacksonville to kick-off our preseason against the Armada,” Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Dave Rowan said. “Mark Frisch, Steve Livingstone and their entire staff built a great foundation in their first season and we look forward to helping launch their second.”
This will be the second consecutive season the Union will square off against the Armada to open the preseason.
