Don’t ask questions you don’t want to hear the answers to.
During a segment on immigration on his Fox News show, host Tucker Carlson tweeted out a question to his followers: “Why does America benefit from having tons of people from failing countries come here?”
The question came after the Supreme Court agreed to let parts of President Trump’s ban on immigrant travel go into effect, a decision that Carlson overwhelmingly supports.
Among the sea of responses to Carlson’s question was Alejandro Bedoya, a midfielder for the Philadelphia Union and the son of Colombian immigrants.
Bedoya, 30, fired back at Carlson, pointing out that immigrants “built this country” and aren’t the boogeymen that the Fox News host and others make them out to be.
