After being idle since a 3-0 win over New England in their Major League Soccer home opener on March 20, the Union appear to be in good health for Saturday's game against the host Chicago Fire.
Union coach Jim Curtin said at his news conference on Wednesday that injured midfielders Tranquillo Barnetta and Vincent Nogueira should both be available for selection against Chicago (0-1-2).
Barnetta has not played for the Union (2-1) this season due to knee tendinitis. Nogueira, who played 90 minutes in the opening 2-0 loss at FC Dallas, has missed the last two games due to an ankle injury.
