Prior to the Union’s October 23rd match against the New York Red Bulls, three Penn State students were given a behind the scenes look into what makes an MLS match day happen.
The students were selected as part of FOX Sports University, a partnership program developed between FOX Sports and nearly forty prestigious universities and athletic institutions across the nation. FOX Sports University provides students with real-world experience in various aspects of the sports industry by presenting them with class projects that tie back to FOX Sports priorities, partners, and events.
Nationwide, students break into teams and develop concepts in response to their university’s prompt, and present their campaigns to FOX Sports executives at the conclusion of the semester.
