During the past couple of weeks, the Philadelphia Union Foundation has had a few fundraising events, and thanks to the generosity of the Union faithful, the organization was able to raise thousands of dollars for the charity.
The first event was auctioning off game-worn kits from the Union's Military Appreciation Night against Colorado Rapids on May 20. The kits, complete with camo numbers, were auctioned off online and raised more than $4,200 for charity.
Another event, which truly put the "fun" in "fundraising" was the Philadelphia Union Foundation's Car and Pinata Smash, was a part of the Demolition Derby ahead of the Union's match against New York Red Bulls.
