Looking to boost their attack, the Union have acquired 25-year-old Dutch midfielder Roland Alberg on a two-year deal.
Albert won't be a designated player. The Union used targeted allocation money to sign the midfielder from ADO Den Haag of the Dutch Eredivise, the top division in the Netherlands.
In 71 games there he made 60 starts and had 16 goals and 13 assists, including eight goals and nine assists last season.
"Roland has the versatility and ability to play multiple positions at a high level of class," Union coach Earnie Stewart said in a statement released by the team.
