The Philadelphia Union Academy U16 team kicked off the second leg of Generation adidas Cup qualification on the front foot with a 4-2 win over the New England Revolution Academy.
Goals that were so hard to come by in the first leg of qualification for the U17 Generation adidas Cup came fast and furious for the Union Academy U16 team on Friday afternoon in Tallahassee, Florida.
Anthony Fontana had a brace and Matthew Real and Kalil ElMedkhar added goals to lift the Philadelphia Union to their first win in qualification dating back to the first regional qualification leg in Toronto in October.
