Adjusting to a new team, let alone a new league and a new country can be a lot for players to manage. Roland Alberg is just one of several members of the Philadelphia Union who had to learn on the job while he navigated his way through his first season with the Union and MLS.
With some free time on his hands, Alberg drafted a long letter to Union fans expressing his gratitude for their support during 2016 and his hopeful plans for 2017.
In his messages on Twitter, Alberg wrote:

This past weekend I flew back to Holland and time on the plane allowed me to reflect on the past season.
