Philadelphia Union midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta has been named to Major League Soccer's Team of the Week for Week 8. The Swiss midfielder had an assist and was instrumental in Philadelphia's 2-0 win over rivals New York City FC on Saturday, propelling the blue and gold into first place in the Eastern Conference.
Barnetta was joined in the Team of the Week midfield by Toronto FC's Michael Bradley, the New York Red Bulls' Sacha Kljestan, and Emmanuel Boateng of the LA Galaxy.
