April 10, 2010. It's a day all Union fans hold near and dear to their heart. For the first time, the Union marched out onto the pitch in front of screaming fans, and were able to play in their city for the first time.
With Talen Energy Stadium (formerly PPL Park) still being built, the Union hosted DC United at Lincoln Financial Field, where 34,870 fans came out to see the Union's first home game in history. Sebastian Le Toux didn't make the fans wait long, as he scored the first home goal in Philadelphia history just four minutes into the match.
