Depth is Key
One of the hallmarks of the Union's season so far has been its depth. The team has been able to sub guys in and out, without seeing a drop in play. Now with injuries, illnesses and international call-ups of late, that depth is even more important. Oguchi Onyewu subbing in for Richie Marquez, Fafa Picault for Ilsinho and Ilsinho for Roland Alberg have all shown how depth has helped the Union remain competitive. Head Coach Jim Curtin said that depth will be key for the team moving forward into this international break, and even afterwards.
