We're just nine days away from the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. As we noted earlier today, the Union have five draft picks in this upcoming draft, including two of the top six, and three of the top 23. That said, it's an important few days for the technical staff as they begin to weigh their plethora of options.
The Union acquired the No. 6 pick from Houston in a trade for Cristian Maidana and Andrew Wenger. The move also allowed the Union to pick up allocation money from Houston, and with the Union holding four open international slots, newly-appointed sporting director Earnie Stewart has plenty of assets at his disposal to begin to craft the 2016 Union.
