Coming off their first home win of the season, Bethlehem Steel FC are ready to host Charleston Battery for another Eastern Conference matchup at Goodman Stadium on Sunday. Steel FC are tied for fourth place in the conference, while Charleston is tied for third.
“I think it certainly helps in terms of the energy level, and there is a lot of positivity anytime you win,” head coach Brendan Burke said. “Throughout the following week, if you can turn that into momentum, it only leads to more positive energy the following week.”
Bethlehem played a poised Richmond Kickers team last week and pulled out a 2-1 win.
