Bethlehem Steel FC played its seventh match of the 2019 preseason on Friday afternoon, falling 3-0 to a strong Richmond Kickers side.
The match started out with a majority of the plays taking place in the middle-third of the field as both sides struggled to retain possession. Richmond played out wide as much as possible and forced the outside backs of Steel FC into early running. Dangerous crosses across the box meant goalkeeper Tomás Romero was called on to make some excellent saves in the first half, forcing shots both wide and over the crossbar and keeping his side level in the match.
