Woodbury native and Bishop Eustace grad Tyler Miller made his first team debut with Seattle Sounders in a 2-1 loss to Real Salt Lake on Saturday.
Woodbury, N.J. native Tyler Miller celebrated his 23rd birthday on Saturday with his first start in goal for the Seattle Sounders at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.
It didn't take long for the Bishop Eustace graduate to make an impact in the game, diving to his right to keep a Joao Plata shot out. It was one of two saves in the game for Miller, whose debut was spoiled when he was unable to beat Jamison Olave to a cross the Real Salte Lake defender headed for the late winner.
