Six local players selected for High School All-American games

Five locals were selected for the girls and boys East rosters for the sixth annual High School All-American games slated to be played in North Carolina on December 1.

The Hill School senior captain Euan Forrest and Mainland Regional midfielder Jack Sarkos, who are both committed to play college soccer at Lehigh University next fall, are on the East boys roster.

The East girls roster features four players from the region: Gia Vicari from the Baldwin School in Bryn Mawr, Pa., Episcopal Academy teammates Anna Salvucci and Olivia Dirks and Abington High School midfielder Camryn Lexow. Vicari is committed to Georgetown, Salvucci to South Carolina and Lexow to Virginia for next fall.
