Eight nominees started on the journey to the 2020 Primepoint Assist of the Year and we're down to four after all the votes from Philadelphia Union fans have been counted.
The top vote getter was homegrown Brenden Aaronson's smooth assist against Sporting Kansas City at the MLS is Back Tournament as he cut the defense apart with a pass to Sergio Santos. Aaronson's assist will take on the Olivier Mbaizo and Kacper Przybylko's combination that came against D.C. United.
The other semifinal matchup sees a pair of defenders square off after tying in the opening round. Homegrown Matt Real's left-footed cross to Przybylko against the Montreal Impact takes on Ray Gaddis' right-footed pass to the Friendly Striker.
