After a historic match against FC Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon at Goodman Stadium, Bethlehem Steel FC’s Seku Conneh was voted the USL Player of the Week.
Conneh received 42 percent of the poll conducted by a national panel of independent media representing every USL market. The weekly honor is both Steel FC’s and Conneh’s first win the league’s top player of the week.
The 21-year-old overcame a saved penalty kick in the first half, with a pair of goals in the final 45 minutes to lift Steel FC over FC Cincinnati for the first time in club history.
