June was certainly a very good month for Roland Alberg. The Dutch midfielder made the most of the opportunity presented to him by Philadelphia Union manager Jim Curtin, scoring six goals in four games (seven if you count the one he banked off of Chicago Fire defender Jonathan Campbell), and in addition to being named MLS Player of the Week for Week 16, Alberg has been nominated for MLS Player of the Month for the month of June.
