Auston Trusty is reportedly rejoining former teammate Keegan Rosenberry with the Colorado Rapids.
ESPN reporter Jeff Carlisle is reporting that Trusty has been acquired by the Rapids for $300,000 in 2020 targeted allocation money, $300,000 in 2021 general allocation money and $150,000 in additional general allocation money if the 21-year-old Media, Pa. native reaches certain performance-based thresholds.
After not featuring for the team in his first two seasons — he was signed in August of 2016 — the homegrown center back played every minute of the 2018 season and started 22 of the first 24 games of the season this season before being demoted after a 4-0 loss at Montreal on July 27.
