When the nominees for the 2019 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target were announced Thursday afternoon, there were the mixed reactions to the Union nominations. Most notably a few new key pieces that have propelled the Union into first place in the Eastern Conference not making the ballot.
The first name comes from MLSSoccer.com's Tom Bogert who mentioned 18-year-old homegrown Brenden Aaronson.
ESPN's Taylor Twellman added another name to the mix with left back Kai Wagner, putting the 22-year-old in the mix for "arguably in the conversation of best LB in MLS".
I’d add Kai Wagner from u2066@PhilaUnionu2069 to this list as well.
