For the second week in a row, Philadelphia Union captain Alejandro Bedoya received the highest rating in our Community Player Ratings poll.
Coming off of what felt like a fairy tale win against FC Dallas a couple of weeks ago, Bedoya took his momentum into LA last Saturday night and even though the Union lost 2-0, Bedoya did what he could to keep the blue and gold in the match. The game was a hard one for us to watch but I am sure it was a hard game to play; it seemed everything was going wrong for Philadelphia that night, such as an injury to Marco Fabian’s ankle, a second yellow shown to one of our core defensive players, questionable calls all while facing the lion Zlatan Ibrahimovic and one of the strongest midfields in the league.
