For the last month it's been back and forth on which team will own the top spot in the Eastern Conference and while the Union and Atlanta United FC are tied on points, the latest version of MLSSoccer.com's Power Rankings has the two sides looking up at yet another conference foe.
The top two teams in the East will clash at Talen Energy Stadium this Saturday, August 31st, for the top spot in the conference but a two-win week by NYCFC pushed the side to No. 2 in the rankings with Five Stripes and Philadelphia Union looking to regain the spot behind already-clinched LAFC.
