Philadelphia Union Head Coach Jim Curtin spoke to the media after the Union’s match against Colorado Rapids. Here are three takeaways from his post-match availability.
Strong 45 minutes
The Union controlled the tempo of the game and dominated possession throughout the first 45 minutes of the match. It was arguably the best half of soccer the club has had so far in this 2018 campaign, and although the result didn’t fall Philadelphia’s way, coach Curtin echoed that sentiment of solid play in the first 45.
“Overall a night where we probably have our best half for soccer, we put together a really good 45 minutes,” Curtin said.
